Delhi Dare Devils prevail over Kings Eleven Punjab in a tight encounter

It was that man again! Gautam Gambhir, the cricketer who has come off age in the past couple of years, and enjoyed tremendus success at the top order for team India, again showed why he is regarded one of the best by any opposition. And his india team mates playing for the Kings Eleven discovered the same in the hard way.

Having taken out the destructive duo of Sehwag and Dilshan cheaply, Kings Eleven must have thought that they were sitting pretty, especially because AB DeVillers too failed to get going, but then the number one batsman in test cricket stood as solid as a rock between them and victory. They failed to knock him over and he suceeded in seeing his team through.

One more positive factor in this encounter, for India was the inspired spell from Sreesanth, the mercurial pacer from Kerala. He showed excellent rythm and briefly threatened to destroy the Delhi inning. Only if he can stay in this rythm zone, more often! Let's hope he does for the sake of India.

Entertaining stuff as a whole though. Today we have two more cliffhangers lined up, KKR vs Royal Challangers Bangalore and CSK vs The Deccan Chargers.

My money will be on KKR and the Chargers, yours?
