Tight bowling, power hitting make it 3 in a row for RR

Shane Warne lead from the front by sending down a terrific spell of 4 overs, conceding just 15 runs and claiming the important wicket of Gibbs. His other bowlers too, responded with sensible bowling. Add to that some breath-taking fieldings, Deccan Chargers were never let off the hook. With regular loss of wickets,it was Rohit Sharma, who with his 35-ball 45, took them close to the 150 mark.

Then came the RR batting display. Lumb, again started off well, but the man who set Ahmedabad on fire with his bat was Yusuf Pathan. Celebrating his selection for the T20 world cup, he hit 8 sixes and 3 fours in his 34 ball 73, and made Deccan Charger look helpless. To Gilchrist's credit, he kept his calm and tried everything he could, by setting attacking fields, calling up his most experienced bowler Vaas in the middle overs, but as you know, when Yusuf Pathan hits it, it stays hit.

And last night, the ball stayed hit. Which meant, Rajastan Royals completed the formalities in the 16th overs with 8 wickets to spare. This was their 3rd victory in a row, and now it seems Shane Warne's comment is begining to make sense. Earlier having lost three matches in a row, he had commented," Don't give up on us yet."

Well, we won't give up, if they can go on like this.
