Bangalore prevailed in a battle of the royals and took a step closer towards that semi final spot. For this match, the RCB had opted for KP, dropping out Cameron White. KP responed by blasting a 29 ball 62 before being run out thanks to a misunderstanding with Virat Kohli.
Earlier, the RR replicated the KKR performance of the other night and lost 3 quick wicket first up, and then spent the rest of the innings, doing some catching up act big time. Yusuf Pathan has been figured out by all the oppositions by now and in this match it took a single ball from Dale Styen, to peg his stumps back, once he was brought back into the attack against the big hitter to do the job. Voges (28) and Rout(32) brought some kind of respectibility to the score, which at the end of the 20th over read a pathetic 130.
Even though they dismissed Kallis right at the start of the innings, they were presented with the KP storm which just blew them away. The RCB finished the job in 15.4 overs and moved to the second spot in the points table.
One more win should make it for them here on.
